Community leader Thomas Mosupye gave a warm welcome and thanked everyone for showing up. Councillor Andries was the first to speak, pointing out how unemployment often leads to frustration and hopelessness, which can push people toward crime. He stressed the need to deal with the root causes, like the lack of education and job skills, to make real change in the community.

During the meeting, the community members and the councillor discussed possible solutions like job training programs, community engagement, and mentorship initiatives. They agreed to work together to raise awareness about unemployment and crime in Hammanskraal and plan to collaborate with local stakeholders to develop strategies that will support community development. Andries Monageng the counselor of Mogogelo said by working together we can help individuals to develo their skills and confidences ,they need to secure the employment and build a bright future”.

The meeting marked an important step towards addressing the challenges faced by the community. By working together, the community member and the counselor hope to make a positive impact and create a brighter future for the residents of Hammanskraal.
